Welcome to the International Thunderbirds Day (ITD)! It is a great pleasure for us to gather here today to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this esteemed organization. Thunderbirds, a non-profit, global network of young professionals and students dedicated to fostering science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education, has been empowering future generations for a quarter of a century. Our mission is to inspire, educate, and engage the next generation of innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers.

A brief history and significance

Founded in 1999, the Thunderbirds organization was established to fill a gap in STEM education and career development. Since then, we have grown into an international community of over 150,000 members across six continents. Our commitment to promoting STEM education and collaboration between students, educators, and professionals has earned us a reputation as a leading advocate for the next generation of innovators.

Theme for this year’s ITD: “Empowering Future Generations through Science, Technology, and Teamwork”

I Presentations and Demonstrations (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Overview of various Thunderbirds’ programs and their impact

During this session, attendee‘s will be treated to a series of presentations and demonstrations that showcase the applications of Thunderbirds’ science, technology, and teamwork in various industries. Thunderbirds, a prestigious organization known for its commitment to innovation and excellence, will present how their groundbreaking research is being implemented in the real world. Be prepared to be inspired as you witness the transformative impact of Thunderbirds’ work in shaping the future.

Presentations and demonstrations by student teams

In addition, student teams from various educational institutions will present their innovative projects, all centered around the themes of ITD (Innovation, Technology, and Development). Each team will have only 3 minutes to present their project followed by a Q&A session with the panel of judges and the audience. This is an excellent opportunity for attendees to engage with the next generation of innovators and learn about their groundbreaking work.

Judging and awards ceremony for the student presentations

The day will conclude with an awarding ceremony for the student presentations. Awards will be given based on three key factors: creativity, innovation, and potential impact. This is a fantastic chance for these talented students to receive recognition for their hard work and dedication. Don’t miss this heartwarming moment as we celebrate the future of innovation, technology, and development.

1. Participants will be organized into groups and will rotate through several workshops during the session. This structure provides an opportunity for attendees to experience a diverse range of STEM-related activities.

Each workshop session is estimated to last approximately 45 minutes. This duration is intentionally designed to ensure that participants have enough time to engage in the activity while allowing for transitions between sessions.

b. Instructors
